This website is run by EMC IT Consultancy Ltd, trading as EMC Hospitality Solutions and EMC Screens ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through emcscreens.com and how we use it.
What we collect
- Orders, quotes and mock-up requests. When you press a WhatsApp or email button, your details (such as your name, business name, mobile, email, shop address and the items you chose) are placed into a message that you send to us yourself on WhatsApp or by email. This website does not store those details on a server.
- Your basket and form details are kept in your own browser (local storage) so you don't have to type them again. You can clear them by clearing your browser data.
- Advertising cookies. If you accept cookies, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how our ads perform, for example page views and when someone starts an order. If you decline, the Pixel is not loaded.
How we use it
To reply to you, prepare quotes, take payment, deliver and fit your order, send invoices, and improve our advertising. Our lawful bases are performing a contract or taking steps at your request before a contract, our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, and your consent for advertising cookies.
Who we share it with
WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider carry your messages. Meta Platforms receives Pixel data if you accept cookies. Payment providers process card payments if you pay by card, and delivery couriers receive your delivery address. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for six years for tax and accounting purposes. Other messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@emcscreens.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
